ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ It was said that the people who would receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection would be of two [kinds]: a woman who disobeyed her husband; and a man who led people in prayer despite being hated by them (1). Footnotes: [1]This applies to Imāms who are transgressors, and not to those who follow the sunnah (the Prophet's tradition). ”

The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, cursed the female visitors of graves (1), and those who build mosques and place lanterns over them. Footnotes: (1) At-Tirmithī mentioned in the Book of Funerals that some scholars were of the opinion that this was before the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, permitted visiting graves and that this permission included both men and women.
